Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior AI Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning pipelines, LLM fine-tuning frameworks, and enterprise automation engines for our corporate clients across East Africa and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable AI/ML pipelines and custom LLM inference architectures.
- Lead client technical discovery sessions to translate business objectives into high-impact AI architectures.
- Collaborate with full-stack engineers to integrate vector embeddings, RAG workflows, and autonomous agents.
- Benchmark model latency, token economics, and accuracy across Claude, GPT-4, and Gemini APIs.
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct code reviews for high system reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in production AI/ML architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch / TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Vector DBs (Pinecone, pgvector).
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex neural concepts to enterprise stakeholders.
